Prime Minister Narendra Modi will step at Gorakhpur for the inauguration of “Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.” In this programme, ₹2000 will be transferred to the farmers account as a part of the first installment.
It was promised that ₹6000 annual financial help would be given to the farmers who have up to two hectares of arable land as was discussed in the interim budget that the money would be credited to respective bank accounts on February 24. From the second installment onward, Aadhar number will be a must to enjoy the benefits.
Prime Minister will come to attend the Kisan Maha Adhiveshan at the Fertilizer ground. On February 23, BJP president Amit Shah will launch a two-day assembly meeting. For the event Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, around 7000 farmers from Gorakhpur and nearby areas will turn up for the game. For farmers to come from diverse areas, a unique transport system is arranged for them. This will help the farmers to reduce their cost of traveling as well as bring all farms together to the rally ground, Satyendra Sinha affirmed.
